Mercure Paris Velizy Hotel, Vélizy-Villacoublay

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The room I booked turned out to have only one bed instead of two, but it was reasonably spacious and somewhat comfortable, aside from a chilly draft from a vent. The location was convenient, being in a busy commercial neighborhood and close to a large shopping center. While the service lacked language proficiency and reservation organization, the staff tried to be helpful. The dining options were limited, but the breakfast was a delightful start to the day. Overall, it was an average experience with some highs and lows.

The hotel is located in a nice quiet suburb of Paris away from the noise and pollution of central Paris, making it a good choice for both Versailles or Paris visits. Despite the industrial neighborhood, the ease of reaching the hotel by car without traffic hassle is a big plus. The rooms are not so clean with very dirty bathrooms and a lingering smell due to people smoking cannabis inside the hotel. On the bright side, the staff is helpful and close to transport options, offering convenience during the stay.

The hotel offers spacious rooms connected to a big shopping mall with lots of dining options. The staff is helpful, especially with room cleaning requests, and the location provides easy access to transport and shopping centers. However, the distance from Orly Airport could be inconvenient for some.
